1. Ippon Again! Review - Pop Culture Maniacs

Apr 9, 2023 · Ippon Again! is all about the love for the game (in this case judo) rather than about winning. The series ends with main protagonists losing to a better team.
In Ippon Again!, three girls form a judo club at Aoba Nishi High School, forming friendships and building camaraderie along the way.

This series deserves a MUCH HIGHER SCORE than its current 6.7-ish. Mou Ippon contains a realistic depiction of high school girls playing a niche sport.

This was a tough match to watch from Michi's perspective. Even with a surprise and determined effort attack, she still feels like the underdog here. It was a very tough match and honestly, I was proud of how far Michi came in this tournament, especially seeing all her training.
