Another major announcement that Kevin Feige could potentially make at this point would be the new actor in the Black Panther role. It was earlier hinted that Marvel is finally ready to recast the role of T’Challa.
Kevin Feige is reportedly recasting T’Challa for the new Black Panther film

Five years after Chadwick Boseman‘s death, Kevin Feige is reportedly planning to recast the role of T’Challa. The news comes from scooper Jeff Sneider, via his site The Insneider. It was surprising news, considering Marvel’s earlier stance that they wouldn’t do so out of respect for Boseman.
The actor passed away in 2020 after a quiet battle with colon cancer in 2020. After Marvel decided not to recast, the character was shown to have died offscreen in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Sneider shared that “the door is firmly open for T’Challa to be recast,” adding that it would happen via the multiverse.
Sneider further reported that afterRobert Downey Jr.announced his return as Doctor Doom, another actor was approached for the role. Thisactor reportedly turned down the role, fearing that he wouldn’t be able to fill Boseman’s big shoes. Sneider claimed that the new T’Challa might not make his appearance in either of theAvengersfilms.
The report suggested that Ryan Coogler’sBlack Panther 3will feature this new actor in the role. Interestingly,Denzel Washington is confirmed to play a rolein this film.
